After spending a week of travel by train and plane, viewing our amazing country, seeing my brother and his wife, step sister and her husband, cousin and her husband, uncle, aunt, sister and husband, my dad and his wife….. I would say I am one lucky person to be a part of a incredible somewhat dysfunctional, interesting, well travelled, diverse family. My dad Ray has allowed and inspired me to be the person I am …. Good, bad or otherwise,
most of all he has tought me respect, curiosity, love of life, never to think you are better than anyone else and to always give. One of the reasons I respect Macy’s is because of one of their values… Give Back.
From today through August my intention is to canvas hard in raising another $10thousand for supporting the Michael j Fox foundation in research to find a cure for this disease. Earl and I got to meet Donovan from a Embark Adventures & expeditions while in Portland. Embark is based in Portland and has teamed up with Michael j Fox/team Fox as the official expedition organizers and professional climbing team supporting the grassroots fundraising Team Fox program.
